Thanet Stroke Campaign coverage in Public Law Today

Public Law Today was amongst many sites that have covered legal proceedings initiated by Thanet Stroke Campaign. An initial target of £5,000 has been set and pledges are being sought via the crowd funding platform, Crowd Justice.

On track for a judicial review

On April 18 Kathy Bailes reported the success so far of Thanet Stroke Campaign’s crowdfunding for a judicial review. The group, of which I am a part, has managed to raise £5,000 so far. We are extremely grateful to everyone who has pledged support and donated money. There is still much to do. Read more on Isle of Thanet News…

BBC looks at Thanet local council elections

Helen Catt, BBC South East’s Political Editor came to Ramsgate on April 18 to cover the challenges faced by candidates in the local elections. On May 2 we go to the polls to elect councillors to Thanet District Council and Ramsgate Town Council, yet many members of the public say they won’t bother to vote or will use their vote to protest against the chaotic goings-on in Westminster over Brexit.
